Elyvo docs
How to read an Asset Passport, how fresh the data is, and how to use the API.
Overview
What Elyvo is for
Elyvo tells you which contract really is a given tokenised asset on Robinhood Chain, what is known about it, where each fact comes from, and what is not known.
Quickstart →
Look up a token by contract address and read its status in a few lines of code.
Asset Passport →
What each field means, which source backs it, and how the asset-level status is derived.
Sources & freshness →
Where the data comes from, how often it is re-checked, and when it turns stale.
REST API →
Endpoints, the response envelope, errors, rate limits and API keys.
The problem it solves
A ticker and a balance are not enough to know what a token is. Any contract can call itself TSLA. Robinhood’s own documentation says a token with a matching name or ticker at a different address is not a Robinhood Stock Token. Apps that show tokenised assets need to know which contract is canonical, who issued it, what holders are entitled to, and how fresh that information is.
Elyvo assembles that into one record per contract, the Asset Passport, and serves it through a read-only API.
Principles
- Evidence over claims. Every field cites its source and when it was observed.
- Fail visibly. Missing data is
nulland shown as “Not known”, never as zero or “safe”. Conflicting sources are shown side by side. - Minimal trust. Off-chain facts are never presented as if a smart contract proved them.
- Plain language. Technical fields come with an explanation.
